Musical Hunt at UTK

Scavenger hunts are a good way for students to show off a creative side while accomplishing academic work. I enjoyed doing the scavenger hunt due to the fact that we weren't just given instrument names but we were given facts about instruments. This allows you to assess the student on the information as well as allowing them to have participate in this fun activity.

We then learned about two programs online that are free to create slideshows of the pictures we took during the hunt. We used Picasa and Google Presentation. Both of this programs are Google based and completely free. As for me, I would choose for my students to use Google Presentation. I found it to be a little easier to use and I liked how there was more room for creativeness.  Also, I found it easy due to its similarity to Microsoft Powerpoint.
